In today's show we share our thoughts about Divine Mercy, Saint Faustina, and the benefits and difficulties of aging. Joining us today is our dear friend Dr. Ronda Chervin.
A Saint Faustina quote: “The Holy Spirit does not speak to a soul that is distracted and garrulous. He speaks by His quiet inspirations to a soul that is recollected, to a soul that knows how to keep silence.” Do any of us really know how to be silent? Even introverts can often be constantly distracted by thoughts and inner monologues that keep them from being recollected and able to hear God's voice. Being silent is more than simply not talking or being around people. It's a turning away from the noise of the world and cultivating an active listening for that "small, still voice" with which God often speaks to His children. (April 29, 2019)
