When you come from Seattle and you move to an island that is diverse you begin to see a lot of things that are different especially in the way your culture is represented as. Being born in Seattle she was always surrounded by a community that only sharpens and broadens her perspective about the world around her. There is more than meets the eye and I think when it comes to sharing that dialogue with someone even from a tap from your phone you get to see where they come from.
