Impact of Reach One and Teach One

Shelia Green, the CEO of Reach One and Teach One, created her nonprofit to address the growing need for substance abuse treatment among high school students. She has been a teacher for 23 years and started her organization during the pandemic to educate parents and students about substance abuse. She provided mentoring and counseling for 26 students from ninth to twelfth grade at Augusta Hawkins last year.
