Bio of the Artist:
Aidan Amore is a trans-disciplinary artist active as an actor, performer and plastic artist in France, Switzerland and the United States. Issues related to dynamics between the sexes, to gender and to sexuality mostly fuel Amore’s practice in search of means to liberate oneself from the conditionings inherited through family, society and culture, thus helping one to reconnect with a sense of True Self and embrace the full experience of what it means to be human. The purpose of such a practice is based on Amore’s strong belief that it is through deconditioning that the individual can access higher levels of consciousness, in which tolerance, respect and preservation of human diversity will serve as blueprints in the building of healthier and more harmonious communities.
What Ariane shares on this episode: Before starting anything, it is important to understand why we want to do it, what we want to do and who we want to do it for. The outcome of what you are doing doesn’t matter, it is the process that holds value. Self – doubt and perfectionism are the two things that come in the way of us realizing our visions and like most of us, were some of Aidan’s concerns with the production of his first feature film as well. Ariane talks about the importance of commitment and consistency and not to let this self-doubt drive you but to keep to the plan. Questions we ask ourselves are ‘Is this really what I should be doing? Do I have the time for it? It is important to acknowledge these aspects but always remember not to let them control you. In this coaching session Ariane talks about some important road blocks that artists face along the road to success. Ariane highlights some practical tips to keep in mind while getting started and staying committed. Ariane guides Aidan through some key elements that he should keep in mind as he starts out on his artistic goal for this year.
