AI has significantly escalated the capabilities of cybercriminals, giving rise to more advanced and targeted attacks. Criminals can use AI to automate phishing, bypass security measures, and exploit vulnerabilities faster than human analysts can respond.

In fact, AI-driven malware is predicted to account for 30% of all cyberattacks by 2025, according to a study by IBM Security. AI can also enable cybercriminals to conduct “deepfake” attacks, where AI-generated content mimics real individuals to deceive businesses and their customers.
