About Joe DeDominic

Joe’s official bio:Joe is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Anschutz Exploration Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary, Anschutz Oil Company. Over the past 6 years he has led the company, focusing on the Powder River Basin, where Anschutz is currently the largest private leaseholder in the Basin with 500,000 net acres, two active drilling rigs and net production of approximately 10,000 BOEPD.

Prior to joining Anschutz, Joe was Vice President and COO of Sanchez Energy, which focused on the Eagle Ford resources of South Texas. Joe started his career with Occidental Petroleum.  In his 20 plus years at Oxy he held a wide variety of positions including Exploration Geologist, Chief Geologist Colombia, Exploration Manager Libya as well as Director Business Development for the Western Hemisphere. In his last role at Oxy he was President and General Manager for the Williston Basin. Joe has a BA in Geology from the University of Montana and a MS in Geology from Texas A&M.
