We're lucky to have Maeve from Faux Machismo on wth us to discuss Kittie's debut album, Spit. Spoiler alert, I'm big into this album. It's got a great mix of everything I like in releases and now that the band are on their own label, X of Infamy, they're free to do what they want. No more getting pressured in to writing softer songs. Not being forced to ditch their Dad as manager for someone with more industry experience.
You'll learn just how hard Kittie toured, how hard it can be to be a female musician and how calling the crowd a certain word can make their collective minds explode.
