I spoke with Brian Donohue, Editor of redbankgreen, an award-winning hyperlocal newspaper in Red Bank, NJ (the publication also became infamous for an April Fool's prank that got our statewide radio station). Brian has a long career in journalism throughout New Jersey, and has great perspective on what's happened in the journalism industry in recent years. We also discuss the important role local news plays in democracy.
