Tony Martin is a long-time member of HALA and a lifelong resident of Detroit, Michigan. In his presentation, entitled "My American Life,' he speaks about his experience of growing up in Detroit and living as a person of colour in America, from the period of the civil rights movement in the 1960s to the present Trump era.
