This week is Start Up Week here at Penn State. To tie in with the theme of the week, we’ll be releasing two episodes of the podcast related to entrepreneurship, running your own business, and working for a start up. Today on part 1 of this series, I’m joined by three guests who own their own companies.

First up, I’m joined by Matt Campagna, Founder and CEO of Refelxion, a visual cognitive sports training organization based in Lancaster. Matt joined me to discuss how he got his start as an entrepreneur, as well as the challenges and rewards of choosing the entrepreneurship path.

Next, I’m joined by the co-founders of SecondWave Systems: Anuj Bhardwaj (CEO of SecondWave), and Kash Patel (COO). Together they talked about their own respective personal journeys, the practical considerations of owning a business, and some things that students can be doing while still in school to prepare themselves for a career as an entrepreneur.
