Listen Later

We also discuss how physical controls complement digital safeguards by protecting hardware, enforcing policy boundaries, and ensuring the environmental stability needed for digital operations to function reliably. Implementation strategies must consider cost, facility layout, integration with electronic systems, and response capabilities. Physical controls may be low-tech compared to firewalls and encryption, but they are fundamental to protecting high-value assets from theft, sabotage, and physical tampering.
