Mostly back to full health now. Started voicing more and more as last week progressed.

Pretty excited that we had our first livestream on YouTube. A few technical difficulties getting it rolling and ended up just using the YouTube web interface for the video, but we made it. 

How can you work on your voiceover chops for minimal cost? Get together with others! Look on meetup.com for gatherings in your area. Consider starting one! (That's what I did.) 

At some point though, you need to consider working with a coach. Ask around for recommendations. Also, the World Voices website has an excellent resource that lists best practices for voiceover coaches. Check it out and ask questions. Remember, YOU are the boss because you are paying the bill!

Quick note: there are some coaches are the exclusively coaches and not voice talents that coach. Some are good, some are not so good. ASK FOR REFERENCES!
