“We are different enough that we don’t always see eye-to-eye on issues, but that’s what makes this so great,” says Hallam. “There is enough shouting into the echo chamber going on out there. We want to make you think.”

For her part, McClelland thinks the local landscape is in need of a way to make politics more accessible. “Political commentary is too often bloated by buzzed-up banter that caters to the political industrial complex and leaves the views of real people behind. This is about how real people are seeing politics and policy – nothing is sugar-coated here,” she said.
