Welcome to the Things That Shape Us podcast. My name is Jonathan Wymer and I'm joined by James Gary to discuss a various range of subjects that are all related to one idea: How those things shape our lives.

In this episode, James and I discuss two things that shaped our lives. First, I talk about the importance of good conversation in a time where "social distancing" is a thing that's shaping us. I talk about how a great conversation matters and is at an almost all-time high in this era of surging podcast creation. Second, James tells us how monetary wealth shapes him and the people around him. He goes deeper into discussing his own personal perspective on why being rich is not the form of wealth he chases as a goal in life. This is probably one of our most organic conversations and we spent it in the great outdoors.
