This episode talks about Kenny's favorite story that Patty has ever told him! Just as the title suggests, Patty has changed actual American history through her research on a ghost in a Chambersburg, PA cemetary. His name was Ben Carter and he was a Confederate soldier that had a Christian burial in Union territory. The reason why this came to pass is extremely interesting!
Patty had no idea that a simple ghost story would lead her down a 7 year journey, ending in rewritten history books. When you look at this story zoomed out, it really demonstrates that a lot of ghost stories begin with a kernal of truth. However, with this one in particualr, the story arc makes it almost impossible for anyone to discount the existence of ghosts. Listen and see for yourself!
