On December 24th, 1945 the Sodder family spent the evening preparing for the perfect Christmas, but disaster struck in the early hours when a fire broke out, and only 7 out of the 12 family members made it out.

Devastated, George and Jane Sodder mourned for their five children lost in the blaze, but as time went on they started to realise that not everything was as it seemed and perhaps the fire wasn’t a freak accident at all…
