Issues with swallowing have an official name - it’s called Dysphagia - the ‘Dys’ is from the Greek for difficulty or pain, and ‘Phagia’ which is Greek again, for ‘eating’. The microphages in our bodies are part of our immune system, and they eat invading cells.
