Richard Ramirez’s upbringing seemed designed to create a monster, and create a monster it did. For just over a year in the mid-1980s, Ramirez made the citizens of Los Angeles and San Francisco live in fear, doing so with a string of ruthless robberies, rapes, and murders. This week, we look at his story.
