Through our ever-increasing scientific and technological breakthroughs, we will save ourselves. We see this myth embodied in our current battle with the Covid pandemic where basically one man in a white lab coat is dictating public policy for over 330 million Americans all under the authority of "science." For the Christian, science and faith are not in conflict. In fact, it was the Christian worldview that laid the foundation for the scientific revolution.
