Episode 82 - Become a Spiritual Supporter
"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand." - Isaiah 41:10 NLT
"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus Himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" - Acts 20:35 NIV
"Your words have supported those who were falling; You encouraged those with shaky knees." - Job 4:4 NLT
"For they have gone out for the sake of the name. Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth." - 3 John 7-8 ESV
"Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from the womb: Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! Our greatest supporter is God. With His mighty hand He keeps us standing. We should do the same with each other. To support someone is to assist them in a special way. It means that a specific person needs help, and that the person receives it from us. We help where we can, and do it despite our own needs and wants. We offer ourselves to the service of God and others. Be a spiritual supporter to your friends and family. You know you can support them with money and your time, but being a supporter spiritually will only cost you your time. Your words can be more encouraging and uplifting than any other type of support. Thank you and God Bless!
