In March every year, Brackenhurst Baptist Church holds its missions conference—or World Outreach Celebration. In anticipation of this event, Doug again joins Tommie as they explore the biblical vision behind Brackenhurst Baptist Church’s World Outreach Celebration and what it truly means to be a missions-minded church. Missions is not simply an annual event or financial programme—it is rooted in Christ’s command: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19–20).

Tommie and Doug discuss how the local church is central to God’s mission—raising up disciples, testing and affirming those called to go, and sending out faithful members to plant and strengthen churches.
