Today on the Ron Johnson Discipleship Podcast: Western secularism rejected God and limited reality to the material. The result was a mechanistic cosmos devoid of any meaning, purpose or morality. Secularism creates a profound spiritual emptiness that must be filled with something. This explains why new age beliefs and eastern mysticism are so attractive to many. They offer "spirituality" without any demands or doctrines. While materialism says, "Nothing is God," new age mysticism says, "Everything is god!" Both are counterfeit forms of real redemption.
