Every Spring and Fall, volunteers, called transporters, fly from the USA to Spain, often on a return flight within hours. They are the transporters––folks who accompany rescued galgos, podencos, and other hunting dogs to the States for adoption.
What’s it like to be a transporter and what goes on behind the scenes? In this episode, you’ll meet Ellen Ganopoulos who will take you along for a ride on a virtual transport, New York to Madrid and back again with up to six “new Americans.”
