Kaliʻa Wasson is a Native Hawaiian designer, dancer and co-founder of Hawaii Swim Show. Originally from Hilo, she danced professionally before starting her swimwear line "Leimakani Swimwear", an all-inclusive brand rooted in Hawaiian culture. She was featured in Sports Illustrated Swim and became the first Native Hawaiian designer invited to Miami Swim Week. That bucket-list experience inspired her to start Hawaii Swim Show and this week kicks off its 3rd year and first time on O'ahu.
