Comedian Alex Berr told me about the life and legacy of her mother, losing a parent while getting her PhD in biomedical engineering, the extremely rare brain cancer Alex had previously studied before her mother was diagnosed with it, starting stand up after she passed, and turning the experience into her show “How To Kill A Mouse”.
