Encino Man is a 1992 comedy about high school misfits, caveman antics, and unlikely friendships.

The story begins with Dave (Sean Astin) and Stoney (Pauly Shore), two teenage outcasts in Encino, California, who dream of popularity. While digging a backyard pool, they stumble upon a frozen caveman (Brendan Fraser), perfectly preserved in a block of ice. When the ice thaws, the caveman comes back to life, bewildered by the modern world.

Naming him "Link," Dave and Stoney take the caveman under their wing, introducing him to suburban life, high school, and ’90s culture. Hilarity ensues as Link navigates everything from slang and fashion to cafeteria food and parties. Meanwhile, Dave and Stoney hope that having a "cool" caveman friend will boost their social status.

As Link charms his way into the hearts of classmates and even the school queen, Dave and Stoney learn some valuable lessons about friendship and self-acceptance. It's a lighthearted mix of slapstick humor, fish-out-of-water antics, and feel-good vibes.
