"The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with load singing." - Zephaniah 3:17 ESV
"Lord, be merciful to us, for we have waited for you. Be our strong arm each day and our salvation in times of trouble." - Isaiah 33:2 NLT
"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." - Ephesians 6:13 NKJV
"I can do all this through Him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13 NIV
'Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV
Power is great and everyone loves power. Men want to be strong, which is why there are so many strong man competitions. The Lord calls us to be strong; to be strong in the Lord. God's power is the only one that matters and we need to trust in Him.
