To quote Dizzy Gillespie, Vaughn Nark is something special. Vaughn followed in his father’s footsteps and began playing trumpet at the age of 6. But when he first heard Dizzy, his world changed forever. Having spent nearly 20 years in The Airmen of Note, Vaughn created a name for himself with his pyrotechnic approach to improvisation. Vaughn is also a passionate educator and a bit of a jazz historian meaning he is always ready with a great story.
