We Have covered various witch trials in the past, but we never focused on the witches themselves. So this week we take a closer look at some of the more famous hags and their crimes, from different countries and times. From a Thousand years ago to present times, witches have been among us, you may know one, or even been married to one!
Good or bad, they have featured in all walks of society, influencing village life and royal politics. At various points in history they actually held very real power. Until they didn't. It has always been a dangerous occupation, and as you will see, could end badly for the hag in question.
