Welcome to the kick-off of Season 5 for The Refuge Podcast!

I’ve recently enjoyed my first weekend retreat (March 2024) as a speaker and, with the encouragement of my dear friend Angie and the movement of Holy Spirit, decided to reimagine and record the five messages from that weekend for the podcast. This series of five talks, titled “People Who Suffer Well” dives into five characteristics of people who endure difficulties with focus on the Lord.

In this first episode, we will discuss the importance of cultivating a life saturated in prayer through the story of Hannah from 1 Samuel.
