This week Michael & Kirk discuss reparations and how white slave owners received it and ancestors of slaves have yet to, even to this day. They talk about the irony of human beings being treated as property and the compensation that was given for those human beings and the emancipation proclamation and the civil war. Then they speak about the brown paper bag test and how it was once misunderstood. Next they ask what would reparations look like and if it would benefit all PoC’s depending on how it is repaid. Lastly they ask if performing at the Super Bowl is hypocritical after Colin Kapernick knelt and which musical acts are big enough to perform at the Super Bowl. And of course.. They ramble.
