A little over 2 years ago, John Lawyer was sitting on his bed and he had a moment of clarity. He realized that everything is connected and that he wanted to help people help themselves, to help others achieve their Dharma, their higher calling.

Having served in the U.S. military for the first 15 years of his adult life and becoming "addicted to war," this moment of revelation allowed him to see people as people, as citizens of humanity.

Today, John is a spiritual guide and seeker in the Kishar Spiritual Community, a nonprofit organization that brings people of all faiths, religions, and spiritual practices together to find deep connection with The One who makes all of this possible.
