Proverbs 15:15

"When a man is gloomy, everything seems to go wrong; when he is cheerful, everything seems right"

We are promised lives of abundance and joy but they are not forced upon us. We must claim joy for ourselves, and when we do, our spirits are filled with God's power and love.
