Danielle Metzler is a certified primary care physician who grew up and got her degree in medicine from Maryland and went to South Carolina for residency. She is a mom of two small babies and a wife to a wonderful husband. A strong believer in a holistic approach to things but also a believer in Western Medicine, she believes in intuition. As planned she served as a hospitalist for five years to earn experience from and with physically ill people. For work-life balance, she switched to primary care which is what she had always been passionate about. B3ing in the medical profession, she has seen a lot of pain in the world. And that inspires her to use her blessings and energy to permeate positivity.
Highlights:
As a work in progress herself, Dr. Metzler does not believe in quick-fix and diet overhauls. As much as it took years to put on extra weight, it might also take years to put it off. For her own well-being as well as for her family and patients, she advocates yoga, taking the necessary pills, body positivity, taking advantage of app exercises/workouts, ridding perfectionism, and also indulging every once in a while.
