The fact is all of us, every single one of us will in fact face disappointment. For a lot of us, even growing up in church, the most advice we received about being disappointed in life was when our parents responded with ‘yeah, well life’s not fair!’ And there’s some truth to that, but I can’t say it’s the most beneficial method of dealing with disappointment.
