Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. The band is named after the Whitechapel district in London, England, where Jack the Ripper committed his crimes. Although residing in the deathcore space, the band takes a lot of influence from various death, black, and progressive metal bands to put their own spin on the music.

Refusing to adhere to a strict subgenre, Týr started out playing doom metal, but they have since moved to an interesting hybrid of folk, progressive, and power metal.

Mental Slavery is a thrash metal band from Moscow, Russia. They take a lot of influence from the early 1980s Bay Area scene and put their own spin on the material to keep it interesting.
