Our Lord Jesus takes the Pharisees and the Scribes to task. He exposes their gross hypocrisy and hardness of the heart. They were hardcore legalists and experts in majoring on minors and minoring on majors! This should be avoided by all means by the Christians. We must follow the Lord as per the leading of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit will enable us to live by the Holy Scriptures in the right way and in the right order. This will erase legalism from the Church. May the Lord open our eyes to the reality and redeem us all from the big blunders we commit all the time i.e. straining the gnat & swallowing the camel! May God be glorified in and through our lives.
