As the tech community is experiencing an “epidemic of isolation” Phil Yanov’s goal is to form a community of tech people. Phil decided to create Tech After Five, to help start conversations between tech people. Tech After Five helps bring tech people together, who normally would not get together, to help encourage them to collaborate in a welcoming environment. At these events, color-coated name tags are given out to help determine what you intend to gain from the event, such as help on a business idea, or even just a tech community friend.
