Episode 85 kicks off with the “What’s Poppin” segment, and the takes are already all over the place. The guys dive into Jack Harlow’s new album Monica—Travey2x calls it a solid project and highlights “All Of My Friends,” while South Cac Chuck wastes no time giving it a brutal 0/10 .
Next, they react to Machine Gun Kelly’s latest single “goddam,” with Travey2x showing love to the album and saying it’s still in rotation. Then things heat up as they discuss Charlamagne tha God claiming Future could appear on Drake’s upcoming project—Chuck thinks that’s a terrible move and even blames Future for fans turning on Drake in the first place.
They also react to a viral pastor asking his congregation to bring in tax returns (yeah… it gets real), and wrap the segment by talking about Dwight Howard officially announcing his retirement.
The “Confessions” segment returns with some wild stories, before the crew jumps into a debate sparked by Rory Farrell and Jamil Clay on Math Hoffa’s podcast—does Rick Ross really have better albums than Lil Wayne? Chuck agrees, but after pushback, both admit Wayne has a strong argument.
In the “HARD PASS / HARD TO PASS UP” segment, they review CyHi the Prynce’s latest track “Bouncin off Me.” Travey2x thinks it’s a direct response to their previous criticism, and while both like the song, Chuck still isn’t fully sold. They also try out Paul Masson ICE—good, but according to Chuck, nothing beats the Peach.
Then it’s time to talk hoops. The guys break down Bam Adebayo’s shocking 83-point performance and debate whether it lives up to the hype. They compare it to Kobe Bryant’s legendary scoring mentality, referencing a story about Kobe choosing integrity over chasing records. While Bam’s performance was impressive, they question how it happened and whether it takes away from the moment.
They close things out with “Meme of the Week,” sharing some laughs, followed by announcements before wrapping up another episode.
