On August 1, 2018, 24-year-old, Mary Katherine Higdon contacted the Griffin, Georgia police. Mary Katherine admitted to shooting her boyfriend, Steven, but said it was an accident. Mary Katherine would later claim that Steven was abusive. Was this an accident, or did Mary Katherine lie to the police about what really happened?
