This week as we get closer to Samhain, Halloween, Day of the Dead and other times of honouring those that have gone before, I thought it was important to discuss the veneration of ancestors. I explain why we honour ancestors, who we can include in ancestral veneration, and how to deal with problematic or immoral ancestors. I also share some examples of how I venerate my dead and some ways you can begin to do so as well.
