This group of “assassins” are a trap.  I suspect Sadeas. The language that they use sounds like Sadeas’s internal dialogue.  

There are secret codes hidden somewhere in Sabarial’s ledgers.

Jasnah used her second surge to create a “dummy” Jasnah body.
