B. George Ratiu is Vice President of Research at the National Apartment Association (NAA), where he leads the organization's research function and produces data-driven analysis on rental housing markets, economics, and policy.
He brings more than 15 years of experience spanning trade associations, Fortune 500 companies, and the federal government.
Most recently before joining NAA, he served as a financial economist at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where his macroeconomic and credit risk research supported FHA's $168 billion commercial real estate loan portfolio.
He also spent over a decade with the National Association of Realtors and served as a market insights spokesperson for Realtor.com. Ratiu holds an M.A. in Economics from Western Kentucky University, along with postgraduate certificates from Georgetown University, the CCIM Institute, and the National Association for Business Economics.
