Welcome to another episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES!
Today I sat down with Lisa Slavid. Lisa works at UC Santa Barbara, and we met a few years ago when we both attended the Social Justice Training Institute. It was really great to catch up with Lisa, to hear about what she has been doing over the past few years, and to reconnect in a few different ways. We talked about growing up, family, identity, choosing a college, working at the campus radio station, DJing parties, moving across the country, and holding several positions at one university over a number of years and the changes one can see in that position. We also talked about travel, PEA DOODLES (Lisa’s web comic), art, music, the joys of living in California, and a lot more.
