Sister Marie Therese Long is the prioress of Saint Joseph Monastery and president of the Board of Directors at Monte Cassino School.
She was raised in Spirit Lake, Iowa, graduated from Briar Cliff College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and received her Certificate in Religious Formation from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
Sister Marie Therese entered the Benedictine Sisters at Saint Joseph Monastery in Tulsa in 1993 and made her perpetual monastic profession in 1999.
She is also a musician and teacher at the School of Lectio at the monastery.
