The story follows Elliot Richards, a socially awkward IT worker who has a crush on his colleague, Alison Gardner. Lacking the courage to ask her out, Elliot wishes he could be with her. The Devil, appearing as a charming woman, overhears him and offers him seven wishes in exchange for his soul. However, each wish comes with an unexpected twist that frustrates Elliot.
