Long ago, the Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade met a delightful hollyphant named Lulu. She was tending bar in Baldur's Gate, serving ale from her trunk.

But there was something special about her. She had a greater purpose than slinging booze. At one time, she was friends with an archangel named Zariel, but her memories of those times were gone.

Zariel had changed too, she was now the ruler of Avernus, and the city of Elturel was one of her first conquests. As the city and its people were being dragged into hell, the Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade embarked on their quest to rescue it - and with Lulu in tow, they hoped she would remember her past and help them save the city, and redeem Zariel.

Through numerous battles, and the tragic death of one of their own, the Gorgeous Phoenix Brigade and Lulu survived. And they have now made their way into the Bleeding Citadel...
