The Journey continues as State #12 is approaching. I will be heading to North Carolina to support CARA - Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption.

The 15th annual Run for Their Lives 5k/10k takes place on August 26, 2023 in Kiwanis Park, Sanford NC.

On this episode, we welcome Eva Rogers of CARA, who is also the Run For Their Lives race director. Eva and I talk about the incredible Carolina Animal Rescue & Adoption (no-kill) shelter, and the amazing work they do. We also talk about the race itself, as well as other events that CARA puts on.
