What a fun way to end our Ramadan series on the Sensitive Periods!

This evening we focussed on the Sensitivity to Small Objects and discussed:

💕 Why it’s such a fun stage (as we have the opportunity to experience the joy and wonder of the world through the eyes of a young child).

😊 Why it’s really important for us to immerse ourselves in this stage, be with them in the moment, cultivate their curiosity, slow down for their exploration.

🐜How and why a young child can focus on an ant for what seems like hours!

🤓 What skills they are developing and honing as they spot, pick up and explore those tiny things that they find.

🤹🏼 Balancing our need to keep them safe whilst providing opportunities for them to fulfil this drive; exploring small objects is an important part of the child's work at this age!
