Episode 88: Jedi Training Academy's Oldest Padawan
Roads. Where we’re going, we don’t need roads...
We need lightsabers!!
In Episode 88 (which totally has me thinking Back To The Future, if you can’t tell from listening to the first 20 seconds) we talk with Matt Cox - the first and only adult to participate in the Jedi Training Academy at Disneyland. He may be visually impaired, but that didn’t stop Matt from infiltrating the Jedi Training Academy at the 2015 Friends Of The Magic Meet-Up! (Matt hosts the podcast, Brunch With The Brits) Matt also proposed to his girlfriend Maria at Disneyland, and both stories have us reaching for our tissues. (15:44)
We also have another Classic Marvel Star Wars Comic segment with Star Wars artist Randy Martinez , this time we look at issue #2 of the film adaptation from April 1978. No hoojibs yet, but we LOVE discussing the comics from 3 points of view: the nostalgic, the artistic and the newbie. (53:03)
